Tueykay, L.Ac, Dipl Ac
(NCCAOM) LMT Bio

Tueykay (pronounced "tu- kay") is a California & Nationally Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist and California State Massage Therapist. She grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where she attended Dawson College and Concordia University. Then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia before heading for California's balmier weather via the Green Tortoise. She studied Shiatsu and massage therapy from the Shiatsu Massage School of California, graduated from Emperor's College of TCM in California and has had a thriving practice on the Westside of Los Angeles since 1994.  She studied ASL for a year and a half at El Camino College, so she is a Deaf Friendly Business.

She specializes in injuries, pain management, stress reduction, cravings such as smoking, food or any addiction and weight loss. She caters to many VIP’s in Beverly Hills and in the Entertainment Industry.

 

Yaelle
Yaelle S, L.Ac., Dipl Ac (NCCAOM)

Yaelle (Yah-El) is a California & Nationally Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist & Reiki Master III. She graduated Vassar College (’95), NY with a B.A. in Economics. She was drafted into the I.D.F. and worked as a Physical Trainer. She instructed soldiers & monitored their health and fitness. Upon returning, she enrolled at Emperor’s College graduating summa cum laude in 2000. She often combines B.R.T. (Body Restoration Technique)-used for treating endocrine (hormonal) imbalances and N.A.E.T. (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) & Gong Sound Therapy with her Acupuncture sessions. Her intention is to expand Peace through Gong Consciousness for all.

She now resides with her family in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Adam Yoser, DC
Chiropractic Sports Medicine

Dr. Yoser, graduated 1989, summa cum laude from L.A. College of Chiropractic, specializing in sports medicine. He is a member of the Board of Directors and former instructor at the Shiatsu Massage School of California.

His experienced in treating athletes paved way for him to participating as staff doctor at professional sports events such as national Martial Arts tournaments, L.A. Marathon, Women’s Pro Beach Volleyball. He is a Medical Director for the U.S. Open of Surfing and serves on the medical staff for USA Track & Field.

He has been a contributing editor to “Surfing Magazine” and “Swim Magazine.” He has lectured at UCLA Schools of Dentistry and Nurse Practitioners.

Alysha's Bio

Alysha uses a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Energy Work and Intuition and was trained at The Massage Center in Chatsworth, CA. While each session has similar elements (warming up the muscles, stretching, forearm & elbow work), Alysha develops a massage routine tailored to your specific body’s needs that day. She inherited intuition from her mother, a Spiritual Healer and Reiki Master and has been using her hands for healing since she was young. Trained in the traditional Usui Reiki technique, she enjoys working alongside Chiropractors and fellow healers.

Jen's Bio

Jen specializes in deep tissue, Swedish, pregnancy, Hot Stone and Seated modalities and has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2001. With over 800 hours of training from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA, Jen practiced for years in high-end spas. She now prefers to offer mobile sessions. Her goal is to effectively communicate with each client in order to tailor the massage to their needs, giving the best possible treatment and helping one client at a time to achieve their fullest potential wellness.

Bobbi, RYT, IAYT

Bobbi began practicing yoga in 1997 in Sydney, Australia. She has lived, studied and taught yoga in Australia, Thailand and India. In 2005, she developed and managed one of the most popular yoga studios in Bangkok, Thailand. She has been interviewed many times in T.V and yoga publications in Thailand. As a dedicated student, she continues her education with teacher, R Sharath, in Mysore, India. In 2009, she received an official blessing (Authorization) to teach Ashtanga Yoga. She’s created safe yet challenging classes for Therapeutic, Pre-Natal, Aging Adults and children.

She has a daily practice of gratitude and compassion.

Romy's Bio

Romy is currently teaching at Yoga Works and has taught in the Los Angeles area for over eight years. Her core training with Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty and the senior teaching staff at Yoga Works informs her teaching style. Romy continually studies anatomy and physiology to enhance her knowledge of the body. She has special experience in yoga therapeutics, particularly spinal deviations. Her sessions help students build a foundation for a safe & progressive yoga practice. Her DVD is entitled, Yoga Session with Romy: Volume I & II.

Aaron, NASM CPT

Aaron is a native of Los Angeles, CA.  &  graduated UCLA ('06) with a B.A. in Geography/Environmental Studies.  While at UCLA, he played Volleyball under coach Al Scates.  In 2009, he received his Personal Trainer Certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He specializes in athletic performance enhancement using goal-based and injury prevention techniques. His training philosophy evolved when he had to rehabilitate his body to full function after his second knee surgery.  He believes the body can be trained efficiently to be more graceful.

He is currently pursuing a career as a professional beach volleyball player.

Maya, CPT

Maya is a native of Maui, Hawaii.  She moved to Los Angeles in 2003 after she received her Personal Trainer Certificate through Maui’s Fitness Professional International.  She stays current with training technique trends with continuing education at the CHEK Institute and NCCPT.  Maya has been named "Personal Trainer you Should Know" along with being the "Trainer to the Stars" at the Maui Film Festival for 10 consecutive years. Her warm personality makes her a natural Fitness Trainer.  Her ability to encourage confidence with any body type makes her very inspiring.

She is soulful, spunky and provides impeccable service.
