Tueykay's Bio

Tueykay (pronounced "two key") is L.Ac., Dipl of Ac., LMT and a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Attended Dawson College and Concordia University. Then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia before heading for California's balmier weather via the Green Tortoise. She studied Shiatsu and massage therapy from the Shiatsu Massage School of California, graduated from Emperor's College of TCM in California and has had a thriving practice on the Westside of Los Angeles since 1994.

Tueykay is currently learning ASL at El Camino College.

John's Bio

John S. Hilton was born in Illinois and raised in Missouri. He has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies including East Asian Studies and Mandarin Chinese from University of Missouri-Columbia in 1992. He then went on to receive his Doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO in 1998.

He combined his cultural interests, Chiropractic skills and knowledge of Mandarin Chinese traveling to the Far East visiting Malaysia, China and most recently Indonesia to study traditional medicine practices and offer his own healing services.

In 1997, he was a founding representative of the Malaysian Chiropractic Association and after graduation joined a group practice in the capitol of Kuala Lumpur. In 2001, he served as co-founder and developer of the Beijing Chiropractic Research Center at Fangzhuang Hospital in Beijing, China. While there, he served as practicing physician and staff instructor to Oriental Medicine Doctors and Orthopedic Surgeons in the science sectors. In 2003, he returned to the U.S. to practice at the San Benito Health Foundation in Hollister, CA. In 2006, both John and his wife, Silvia, ventured to Indonesia volunteering at an internationally awarded Indonesian non-profit health organization focusing on mother's health and natural birth. There Silvia, a U.S. trained personal life coach, aided birthing mothers during labor and offered post-natal assistance, and John was often busy as attending physician to mothers and newborns.

John and his wife currently reside in Santa Monica, CA.
